Haworth Moor, Haworth, Keighley, BD22 0EL, OS Grid Reference SD 9939 3520

Situated just outside Haworth, Haworth moor has a multitude of places to discover, Bronte Waterfalls, Wuthering Heights, Alcomden Stones, Ponden Kirk, Penistone Hill and Ponden Hall. The easiest part of Haworth moor to get to from the village of Haworth is Penistone hill. It is 3/4 of a mile walk from behind St Michaels Church in Haworth. From the top of the church steps turn left and follow the signs to Bronte` Waterfalls. Penistone Hill is the first bit of moorland you come to. You will know when you have arrived as you will see a lot of  people walking their dogs. There are several circular walks around Penistone, all suitable for all capabilities of walkers. While walking around Penistone keep an eye out for the abandoned sandstone quarries, which are easy to find because of their size. There are two other interesting things to look out for, a book sculpture called "Literary Landscapes" by Martin Heron, a collection of Bronte` book sculptures. The second is sculptures in the rocks of working men and horses from the quarry.
